Rotary Club of Katy’s Signature Events Continue to Drive Community Impact
Katy, TX – October 2025 – The Rotary Club of Katy continues to turn good times into great outcomes through its flagship community events—the Wild West Brewfest, the Katy Rice Harvest Festival, and the Katy Triathlon. These beloved local traditions raise critical funds for scholarships, nonprofits, and charitable projects that strengthen the greater Katy area year-round.
This week, the Club proudly presented donation checks to several organizations as part of its latest round of community giving. These donations were made possible by the incredible support from event sponsors, guests, volunteers, and the wider Katy community. Since its inception, the Wild West Brewfest alone has contributed more than $1.5 million back to local causes—and that impact is only growing with the support of additional annual fundraisers.
“Every event we host is about more than fun—it’s about purpose,” said a Rotary representative. “Whether you’re running in the Katy Triathlon, enjoying music and food at the Rice Festival, or sampling craft beer at Brewfest, you’re helping us lift up the people and programs that make Katy stronger.”
Among this round’s recipients were:
• Holy Covenant Methodist Katy – $1,000
• Camp Journey – $1,100
• KAACCH Korean Student Scholarship – $1,250
• Sleep In Heavenly Peace – $1,500
• Katy Heritage Society – $2,500
• Hope Impacts – $3,000
• Lone Star Symphony – $3,500
• MADD – $4,000
• Lombardi Award – Pediatric Cancer Research – $5,000
• ARTREACH – $5,000
• Christ Clinic – $7,500
These check presentations are just one example of the Rotary Club of Katy’s commitment to service above self. With each event, the Club continues to foster partnerships that support education, public health, arts, cultural preservation, and more.
