We will start the new Rotary year with an overview of the year to come. Fundraisers, Events, Socials, Service Projects, Committee participation and organizational strategy . 

ENDING THE STIGMA OF DEMENTIA

That is the vision of Amazing Place. Together, we’re changing the way people think about dementia. We’re not coping. We’re connecting. We’re not just talking about memory loss. We’re facing it head on. We’re implementing programs encouraging active and independent lifestyles. We’re training and educating caregivers, congregations, health professionals and the community to equip them with essential knowledge and tools. We’re building meaningful relationships daily with those living with dementia and everyone in their lives.

Above all, at Amazing Place, we’re ending the stigma of dementia.

The Rotary Fund Board will be hosting our Class of 2022 Scholarship recepients to recognize and honor the graduating seniors from Katy Independent School District selected as Rotary Scholarship Awardees. Join us at West Grand Katy on June 21st. Club Members and Members of the Media should  RSVP with Club President Rocky Blair. Scholarship Recepients and Families RSVP with Rotary Fund President Jeff Thompson, Sponsors and Community Members RSVP with Katy Triathlon Chairman Paul Kurt. 

The Rotary Club of Katy will gather and honor our 2022 Scholarship recipients from Katy Independent School District. Over $100,000 in scholarships have been awarded by The Rotary Club of Katy with funds Raised by The Katy Triathlon. Join us at West Grand Katy for dinner and fellowship!

The Rotary Club of Katy is honored to host District Governor Mindi Snyder. Please join us Thursday, July 28th at The Club at Falcon Point from 11:45 AM - 1:00 PM. 

Get ready for a little family fun! The Rotary Club of Katy and Alamo Drafthouse Cinema are ready to host you and your family for a Saturday Morning Movie and a Cereal Party! We will enjoy a private screening of DC League of Super-Pets a choice of three cereals and  drink. 

Tickets $25 per person

We will also be collecting Backpacks and school supplies to support KCM's Red Apple Backpack program.

Come join us as we paint a 27' X 16' USA Map on the playground at Aristoi Classical Academy.  Be sure to dress comfortable and in clothes that you are able to get dirty!!  We love doing this community service project in honor of our fellow Rotarian Brian McDonough.

Join Past District Governor (PDG) Rhonda Walls-Kerby for an introduction to all things Rotary via Rotary 101 session. This social and learning event will provide newer members to the Rotary Club of Katy an overview of how Rotary is organized, our avenues of service, our ares of focus and the object of Rotary. 

Drinks and light hor d'oeuvres will be provided for this social and interactive session. 

This class is highly recommended for members with 3 years or less of service time or any member that has never attended a Rotary 101. 

David will provide us an update to the Animal Shelter improvements that the City of Katy has done and how you can help.

Did you know...

If you live in the CITY LIMITS of Katy, you must register your pet?

Per the Katy Code of Ordinances, all cats & dogs MUST be registered with the City of Katy. There are two reasons for this:

1. Not knowing where a member of your family is can be a traumatic experience. Registering your pet will keep your contact information up-to-date incase your pet is ever lost. 
2. Proof of vaccination, which is required by the State of Texas

The Rotary Club of Katy takes no monies from the event, either administrative or management related.  We pay all third-party bills and the net proceeds benefit need based and character scholarships for graduating KISD seniors.  We have funded in excess of $606,000 in scholarships, as well as $175,000 to fund an endowment with KISD that is being used with the Dual Credit Program.

Our goal is to put on a quality family event that will benefit our students in need! Please, help us change a life!
