Katy Rotary Announces 2021 Scholarship Winners
The Rotary Club of Katy, and The Katy Rotary Fund Board announced the 15 winners of Rotary Club of Katy Scholarships for the 2020/2021 school year.  The Club awards at least one scholarship annually to a graduate from each of the Katy ISD High Schools and this year awarded a record $63,000 in scholarship awards, including a top award of $10,000.
KISD students apply for a Rotary Club of Katy scholarship through their school counselor and are selected based on achievement, need, and impact.  This year the scholarship award process included a written application and essay as well as an interview with a scholarship panel made up of seven members of The Rotary Club of Katy.
The 2021 scholarship recipients and their families were recognized at the Rotary Club of Katy weekly meeting on Thursday July 29th, with 11 of the 15 scholarship recipients attending in person.
